I joined StarCommunity in 2014 and immediately felt a resonance. Choosing to live in community provided a deep meaning and purpose to my life. It certainly can be challenging and frustrating at times, but well worth the effort. It takes an expanded focus,one that includes both an individual and community lens. Recently, I retired from a 40 year teaching career. Starting as a dance teacher and ending as an elementary art teacher. I am looking forward to incorporating these interests as well as community living into my new life.
