NamePage

A "NamePage" is a page on a wiki that has the same name as a user.

So for example, these are name pages:

• LionKimbro
• SilverKimbro
• JackPollard

Name pages are a little different than most ordinary pages on the wiki. They are, by convention, "owned" by the person who is named by them.

Name pages are often used with the following purposes:

• to list a 48x48 pixel portrait for the person that will show up when they chat on the wiki
• to share a larger picture of the person who named
• to share a bio of the person named
• to share links to that person's presence elsewhere on the Internet
• to share a status note about the person
• to share ideas that the person is thinking about, or various updates
• to have a place for people to leave messages for that person, and exchange some conversation

These are all conventions -- there's nothing in the wiki software that enforces this. By convention, whatever a person wants to do with their name page is their business.
