Feeling and emotions are expressed by different Ego States

Parent emotions: From authority figure, institution, belief system, government, corporation, country, culture.

Adult feelings: Use your discernment to distinguish your feelings, authenticate your feelings, responsibly apply the energy and wisdom of your feelings, This is a centered state where your can identify your triggers and make space around them.

Child emotions: Incomplete feelings from the past. Something happened and it was not safe to express your feelings. You surpressed these feelings. Child emotions get triggered when you experience something similar in the present.

[Authenticating feelings: What is the purpose of this feeling? Where is it going? What is it’s intention? Be vulnerable. Feelings want to stay in relation with others.]

You can feel anything about anything – we learn this by doing Feelings Practice.
